The SVD Ghana Project Office organized a special health outreach program at the Gushiegu Witch Camp in the Northern Region of Ghana. The initiative, sponsored by the Muenster Diocese in Germany, was part of the SVD’s ongoing commitment to promoting health, dignity, and compassion among marginalized communities.
During the outreach, a dedicated team of medical personnel, volunteers, and members of the Divine Word Missionaries provided free medical care, health screening, medication, and education to the residents of the camp. The beneficiaries—mostly women and children who have been socially displaced—received treatment for various ailments, along with vital information on preventive health practices and personal hygiene.
Beyond medical support, the outreach emphasized love, inclusion, and human dignity, reflecting the SVD’s mission of “Evangelizing through Service and Empowerment.” The event brought hope and relief to many who often lack access to basic healthcare services.
The SVD Ghana Project Office expresses profound gratitude to the Muenster Diocese, Germany, for their generosity and partnership in transforming lives and restoring dignity through this impactful initiative.
